The region’s biggest local food festival is almost here.
The annual FEAST! Local Foods Marketplace will be held on Saturday, November 5 from 10 am – 4pm at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.
Tim Penny, President and CEO Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF), whose 20-county region includes Goodhue, Wabasha, Winona, and Olmsted Counties, says local food lovers attend FEAST! Filled with sampling, shopping, cooking demos, kids activities, and giveaways.
Penny says the event hosts nearly 100 regional food and beverage businesses from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa each year, most utilize locally-grown ingredients to make artisan products.
Advance general tickets are $5, at the door they are $10. VIP admission, which includes alcohol sampling, are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Children under 12 are free.
