Fall Color Changes

The changing of the leaves in southeast Minnesota continue get closer to peak color.
According to the Fall Color Finder on the Minnesota DNR site, as of Monday, all of Goodhue, Rice and Dakota Counties are at 25-50%.
The far southeast corner of Wabasha County and eastern part of Winona County is still at 10-25%. The northern half of Wabasha County is at 25-50% and southern half is 50-75% peak.
All but the far western border of Olmsted County is between 50-75%.
The typical dates for peak fall colors in southeast Minnesota according to the DNR is early to mid October.
