Fall Color Changes

If you have not made time to enjoy the changing of the leaves in southeast Minnesota, you are running out of time.
The vast majority of central and northern parts of the state is past peak.
According to the Fall Color Finder on the Minnesota DNR site, as of Tuesday, the eastern half of Goodhue County is at 75-100% category.
The northern half and eastern most part of Wabasha County are at 75-100% peak, the remainder is at past peak.
Olmsted County is all past peak and so is Winona County’s western one-third with the rest still at 75-100%.
Oddly, most or much of Carver, Scott and Sibley counties are still at 25-50% peak.
