The 19th annual Empty Bowls To-Go fundraiser in Rochester presented by Channel One Regional Food Bank and Think Bank raised $81,400 last month to support Channel One’s mission to strengthen food access and build healthy communities.
The funds raised from this year’s two-day event will directly benefit those who are experiencing food insecurity across 14 counties in southeastern Minnesota, including Goodhue and Wabasha counties and western Wisconsin.
As the largest hunger relief organization in the region, Channel One and its partner food shelves, pantries and programs provides food assistance to working families, seniors, and people in times of crisis because of job loss, medical problems, or personal disaster.
