Emergency Response Cardiac Arrest

Emergency crews from Buffalo County and Wabasha County responded by boat Sunday morning around 8:48 a.m to a reported cardiac arrest on an island on the Mississippi River.
A 75-year-old male who went into cardiac arrest on an island near River Mile Marker 745. CPR was in progress when Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers received the call.
Authorities responded via boat before emergency crews transported the man to the 10th Street Boat Landing in Buffalo City, where he was transported to a local hospital.
The name of the individual involved has been withheld. Foul play is not suspected.
