Elgin Annual Cheese Days 2026

Elgin’s 59th-annual Cheese Days celebration is scheduled for Friday, June 19, Saturday the 20^th and Sunday the 21^st with all sorts of activities, food and live music on tap.

Events will include city-wide garage sales, food trucks, carnival, Elgin Fire Department water fight, a coed volleyball tournament, men’s and women’s softball tournaments and the Elgin EMS ‘Cheese Chase’ 1K and 5K runs.

Other activities include a vendor craft show, a tractor pull, kids’ games and activities, auto ‘burnouts,’ kids’ pedal pull, and the the Grand Parade at 1:30 pm Sunday the 21^st.
