Elder Network is hosting the first in a series of Memory Café’s in Wabasha on Thursday from 1 pm -2 pm.
The free, dementia-friendly gathering will take place at the Chocolate Escape.
Bonnie Sandberg, Wabasha County Coordinator for Elder Network, says it’s a great chance to socialize for individuals living with dementia and their care partners.
Sandberg says there will be plenty of fun activIties planned for attendees, including games, music, and a short survey about the interest in a future field trip.
Sandberg says Memory Café experiences will offer a variety of ways meant to help people suffering from dementia.
There will be treats and drinks available for purchase Thursday.
