Downtown Red Wing Retail Restaurant Challenge

Businesses located in Red Wing’s historic downtown or West End District still have time to apply for Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet’s Retail & Restaurant Challenge.

Executive Director, Andrea Hanson says they have $100,000 in grant money to award winning businesses opening or doing a significant expansion.

Applications are due Monday, June 30th.

The programs goal is to fill vacancies and support local business, with the top priority finding 1 to 2 new restaurants to open up downtown.

This Challenge will fund at least two businesses.

The winners will be announced on July 25th.

Funding is provided by: Jones Family Foundation, Red Wing Area Fund, Wings Foundation and Albrecht-Poss Family Foundation.
