The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has awarded $673,500 in Launch Minnesota Innovation Grants to startups.
These grants go to 25 startups, 18 of which targeted founders are minority, veteran or woman-owned businesses or are located in Greater Minnesota.
Blue Waters Farms in Goodhue County is awarded $31,500 to develop a sustainable, intensive system for indoor production of Walleye.
Goodhue County’s Live.Give.Save has been awarded $28,000 for a fintech mobile app that puts financial wholeness in consumers hands.
GoAdvntr Inc. in Winona County receives $24,500 for an online marketplace connecting experience seekers to small businesses.
Since Launch Minnesota's creation in 2019, it has awarded 143 Innovation grants of over $3.8 million to over 115 startups statewide.
