Wabasha’s very own Interact Club has its first community service project, and they need your help!
The Wabasha Food Share’s supply has been nearly depleted and food donations will be accepted at Dick’s Fresh Market or the Wabasha Chamber of Commerce.
Monetary donations will be accepted at WNB Financial (make checks out to W-K Interact Club).
ALL donations are due by Friday, March 31st.
The Food Share can buy food for pennies on the dollar. This means that while giving food is good, donating money is WAY more effective.
For this reason, Rotary’s Star of Hope is matching $1 per pound of food donated up to $5000! ($5000 is what is needed to fund the Food Share for about a month.)
There will also be a Red Cross blood drive on Friday, March 31st at Wabasha-Kellogg Public School from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.
