Compeer Financial Ag Ed and Classroom Grants

Twenty-one Minnesota schools, including one in Goodhue County and another in Olmsted County, have received a grant to support agricultural education.
Compeer Financial awarded $4,000 grants to each recipient school to fund programs and technologies for a variety of classes linked to agriculture, including animal and plant sciences, food science / chemistry, veterinary, horticulture, mechanics, forestry / wildlife, aquatics and more.
Cannon Falls High School recieves the grant for infrastructure and equipment for their viticulture project.
Dover-Eyota High School will use the grant for supplies and equipment for the Food Chemistry class.
In total, Compeer Financial is awarding over $235,000 in grants to 65 schools in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois as part of its Agriculture Education and Classroom Equipment Grant Program.
