A Red Wing community meeting is being held today (Tuesday, April 11th) from 6:30-7:30pm in the Library Foot Room to discuss Airbnbs, VRBOs, and short-term rentals.
The Advisory Planning Commission is studying Semi-Transient Accommodations uses in Red Wing, with an emphasis on short-term rentals.
This meeting will allow residents, businesses, and short-term rental operators to offer their opinions.
Two weeks ago, the Red Wing City Council voted to introduce an interim ordinance establishing a 180-day moratorium, or temporary stop, on permits for Semi-Transient Accommodations uses.
