City of Red Wing Barn Bluff Events

September brings two great dates to visit He Mni Can-Barn Bluff for area residents.
Michelle Leise, Community Engagement Facilitator for the City of Red Wing, says on Wednesday, September 24th the City and Prairie Island honor the completion of Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects: the cultural entrance plaza and renovated lime kiln.
Official ribbon cuttings begin at 3:30; self-guided walks on the bluff and to the kiln are 4:30 to 6:30. (You can even view the kiln by the new lights at dusk.)
Leise says the renovated lime kiln will be highlighted during the free event too.
On Saturday, September 27th, join Red Wing Arts and the Honoring Dakota Project for guided hikes, craft projects, and storytelling at 9 am and 11 am.
