City of Plainview Voting

The City of Plainview is encouraging residents to either vote early or go to the polls on election day November 5th.  

Mayor Aaron Luckstein while there may only be one candidate for Mayor on the ballot but there are choices to be made for a a pair of seats on the City Council.

Luckstein says there will be two voting locations in town, the Community Center and City Hall.

Precinct 1 - Everything north of Broadway, including properties on the north side of Broadway.  Voting takes place at the Community Center -346 West Broaday.

Precinct 2 - Everything south of Broadway, including properties on the south side of Broadway. Voting takes place at City Hall-241 West Broadway.

Luckstein says the Mayor seat is a 2-year term and te Council seats are 4-year terms.
