Cannon Valley Trail Update

Great news on Project One on the Cannon Valley Trail.

The trail has reopened from Mile 13.5 to Mile 15.5, including Cannon Bottom Road Access.

A few remaining tasks still need to be completed before Project One is fully finished, including fence installation at Mile 14, bridge removal at Mile 14.5, and a box culvert at Mile 15.

When work begins, Mile 14 to Mile 15.5 will temporarily close again.

Also a reminder that Project Two — Bridge & Asphalt Replacement from Mile 15.5 to Mile 19.7 — is underway.

That section will be closed to trail users through June 2027.

Welch Station Access, Cannon Falls Access, and Cannon Bottom Road Access will all remain available.
