Cannon Equipment, LLC Layoffs

According to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), the State Rapid Response Team received a Federal Worker Adjustment and Restriction Act (WARN) letter from Cannon Equipment, LLC, informing of its permanent closure and layoffs.

Due to the closure, employees will be permanently laid off on Dec. 31, or within 14 days after that date.

KTTC reports about 45 employees are expected to be laid off.

The company, located at 324 Washington Street W in Cannon Falls, makes custom-built carts for businesses including Amazon, Ford, Walmart and Domino's.
