A Red Wing nonprofit is holding their annual Bluff Color Fest Trail Run/Hike this weekend.
President David Anderson says the Friends of the Bluffs is a community organization that works to improve and maintain the bluffs and their trails.
Anderson says the group works collaboratively with organizations, businesses, the City of Red Wing, and individuals to promote the bluffs locally and regionally to strengthen Red Wing’s identity as a vibrant outdoor-recreation community.
This Saturday’s Bluff Color Fest Trail Run/Hike offers a variety of distances participants can sign up for.
The Bluff Color Fest Trail Run/Hike is Saturday, October 16th, from 7:30 am – noon, with same-day registration at 6:00 am. The event begins and ends in the Mississippi National Golf Links parking lot.
