Two individuals have been arrested and charged after Red Wing Police Department received multiple reports of vehicle damage this past weekend that was determined likely to have been done by someone shooting a BB gun.
The more than 20 complaints of broken vehicle windows and/or body damage from October 20 through October 22 resulted in damages estimated at approximately $45,000.
With the help of citizens who aided officers in the investigation, the Red Wing Police Department arrested Ray Jerome Meyer and Taylor Isaiah Donaldson, both 18 and of Red Wing, in connection with the incidents.
Meyer and Donaldson were booked and held in the Goodhue County Adult Detention Center on charges of first-degree criminal damage to property and carrying a BB gun in a public place.
Red Wing Police were assisted by Goodhue County Sheriff’s Dispatch and Goodhue County Patrol Deputies in this case.
