Avanti Project Groundbreaking

City officials, downtown business leaders, and the Avanti project development group bringing apartments to downtown Red Wing held their official groundbreaking Tuesday afternoon.

Red Wing Capital Investments are building a 4 story, 36 unit apartment complex that will feature mostly a range of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom market-rate units at 314 West 4th Street, former location of Mike's Barbershop.

The goal is to have the project completed by next November.
