The Anderson Center at Tower View, 163 Tower View Drive, in Red Wing, will be presenting the 24th annual Minnesota Children's Book Festival on Saturday, September 16th from 11 am - 4 pm.
The free family event features presentations of eight new books by award-winning children's & young adult authors and illustrators.
Program Director, Adam Wiltgen, says each author or illustrator will present their work, read from their book, and they will be doing it all on the Tower View front lawn.
Wiltgen says there will be all kinds of activities taking place Saturday.
The event also features Face-Painting by Sheila, stilting, self guided tours to the top of the Anderson Center's landmark water tower, artmaking activities, bookmaking with ArtReach, table tennis, giant bubbles, balloon animals and food vendors.
All ages are welcome.
