Red Wing is celebrating America's Semiquincentennial with a fireworks display and more on Saturday, July 4th at 10 pm.
Visit Red Wing, Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet, St. James Hotel, Red Wing Arts and Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to bring fireworks back.
Fireworks will launch from Hager City lighting up the Mississippi River. Find your perfect spot, look to the sky, and get ready for a breathtaking display.
Fireworks is not the only thing going on at Levee Park Saturday the 4th. Before the fireworks there will be live music right by the Gazebo area in Levee Park starting around 4 pm along with nostalgic fun and games.
Enjoy the Venetian Boat Parade, as decorated boats light up the river with patriotic colors, festive displays, and community spirit. The parade will begin at 8 pm, with the Red Wing Fire Department leading the boat lineup from Ole Miss Marina.
Boat owners are encouraged to decorate their vessels with lights, flags, and patriotic flair for a chance to win the Grand Prize – a $100 gift certificate to St. James Hotel or West End Liquor.
Registration is required for participating boats.
