41st Annual River City Days

Red Wing’s 41st Annual River City Days kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday.

Michelle Larson, President & CEO, Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce, says there will be plenty of free family events all three days.

The fabulous free entertainment at Bay Point Park kicks off Friday from 1-4 pm with The Key Notes old time music under the tent in the beer garden, which opens at noon. From 5 – 7 pm it’s the Karaoke Finals by Bluff Country KCUE & Falk Auto Body. From 8 – 11 pm Friday, it’s Viva Knievel playing 80’s/90’s and 2000’s music.

Larson says the weekend is packed with fun activities.

Saturday highlights include the River City Ramble 5k Run/Walk, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, Car Show, Disc Golf Tournament, Arts and Craft’s Fair, Beer Garden, and Taste of Red Wing. From 4-7 pm it’s the Local Hooligans performing.

Sunday it’s 48th Fly in/drive in Pancake Breakfast at the Red Wing Airport from 8 am – noon, River City Days Parade at 1 pm, Red Wing Royal Ambassador Coronation at the Sheldon Theatre at 5 pm.
