Golden Eagle season is upon us in the Midwest, and the National Eagle Center is making preparations for the 20th Annual Golden Eagle Survey which will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
This is a wonderful chance for interested individuals to volunteer and help conduct important citizen science!
Last year the Survey involved over 220 volunteers across four states (Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin) and the Eagle Center are always looking to add more volunteers and survey routes.

The findings of this project are helping advance our understanding of migratory Golden Eagles in the eastern portion of the United States, and this is your opportunity to play a role in science.
