2025 Elgin Cheese Days Button

ree

Cassidy Fogelson created the winning Elgin Cheese Days button design this year, for the second consecutive year.

According to the Plainview News, Cassidy, who will be a seventh-grader this fall at PEM, is the daughter of Nick and Lindsay Fogelson of Elgin.

Her design depicts a mouse holding a block of cheese over its head, and a series of musical notes.

Cassidy says she always has art ideas in her head and she wanted to make it pop and bring attention.

Button contest entrants must design their button with a music theme, and also include the term ‘Elgin Cheese Days.’

The contest is open to PEM students in kindergarten through grade 12, and to Immanuel Lutheran School students.

Winners are invited to walk with family and friends and hand out buttons in the annual Cheese Days Grand Parade, held each year in mid-June.
