Red Wing Downtown Mainstreet is getting ready for all the fun activities planned for the 21st Annual Holiday Stroll on Friday, November 25th.
Angela Frechette, Office and Events Coordinator, says new this year are event buttons which will be required for ages 12 and up for participation in many events for just $3 in advance, $5 day of the event.
Frechette says the button idea was based on what other surrounding communities have done for their events and it’s way to defray the annual cost of $30,000 and enable them to grow the Stroll in future years.
Activities that will require a button include: Visit with Santa at the Sheldon, Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, Star Wars Village, and Jabba’s Throne Room & Cantina.
Activities not requiring a button include: basement of the Library activities, hosted by the YMCA- St. James Hotel activities (Gingerbread Contest, Festival of Wreaths, and more), Lighted Parade, vintage snowmobiles, food trucks and any activities inside individual businesses.
